Review of Lake of Fire (2006) by Will S — 25 Apr 2008
This movie spends 2 1/2 hours discussing both sides of the abortion debate and it still feels as if it's merely scratching the surface. When both sides are so polarized, it's truly amazing that director Tony Kaye can present an incredibly balanced view of both the pro-life and pro-choice supporters.
I learned more than I ever thought I would. The black and white photography is beautiful and really conveys this "black and white" issue as being riddled with "grey areas." Everyone should see this movie.
This is what true documentary filmmaking should be.
