Review of Lady in the Water (2006) by Brad H — 15 Apr 2012
No part of me understands why this movie was not as accepted as his other ones. I think people just rejected it because M. Night cast himself in the role of the world-changing author, and because of the movie critic.
I can understand why you might not like M. Night as a person for that, but I don't see how it takes away from the actual film. The film is very artistically made. The camera shots, the creatures, the score by James Newton Howard.
..all perfect. Great acting, interesting (but confusing) story. An amazing, beautifully-presented film. Absolute genius.
