Review of Lady in the Lake (1946) by Adam S — 02 May 2011
This is almost as confusing as "The Big Sleep", Hollywood's other Marlowe film of 1946, but with Robert Montgomery as a cynical disembodied voice behind a distracting cameras-eye-view visual technique, the character isn't nearly as effective as Bogart's take.
