The s l o w e s t m o v I e e v e r . . . There are so many things that don't work for the film. The perspective is difficult and felt like a Time Crisis arcade game. We are forced to see events in Marlowe's eyes and nothing else.
Our peripheral vision is a square and not panoramic. We don't see events but we're told events. There is too much going on and too aural-based for a medium so visual. Stick to the novel...
