Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Nadjib R — 27 Dec 2017

So Lady Bird, it's beautifully put together and brilliantly acted and extremely refreshing to watch it unfold, the film explores many themes and deals with a sensitive issue which is growing up in a world filled with potential and dreams, Lady Bird does all of that with an original style that's never dull nor is it distracting and that's due to the realism in telling the story which comes across as inspiring and hopefull throughout the film, Saoirse Ronan leaps out of the screen and performs incredibly, she took the role and made it hers entierily and it was amazing to see,I have no doubt that she'll get an Oscar nod for this impccable work, the story is quite simple yet it delivers a sort of fulfillment towards the end and it conveys an important message, for all those reasons above, Lady Bird is a very great film and a perfect example of what an Indie film should be.
