Review of Lady Bird (2017) by Willyam_Carr — 17 Dec 2017
Greta Gerwig has had one of the greatest directorial debuts since Ryan Coogler's Fruitvale Station (2013). This is a tender story about the relationship between an girl and her home. The performances are top-notch; Saorise Ronan and Laurie Metcalf shine like true stars.
The writing is crisp, witty, and insightful. This is easily one of the best films of 2017.
