Review of Lady and the Tramp (1955) by Bryan K — 26 Jan 2011
One of Disney's most wonderful, beautifully animated films, with enduring characters, music, and scope. (This was the first animated feature made in Cinemascope, predating "Sleeping Beauty".
) Highlights include the Siamese Cat song, the beaver scene, the dog pound (featuring Peggy Lee's memorable music number), and the unforgettable spagetti scene (brilliantly animated by Frank Thomas).
