Review of La Vie en Rose (2007) by Rob M — 16 Apr 2009
Incredibly touching, a very compelling story with an excellent performance by Marion Cotillard - brilliantly embodied Edith Piaf. Very good directing with great lighting. Very powerful, shows the life of the legendary French singer to the very detail although I did not like how it particularly focused at certain times on the bad sides of Edith Piaf, but that's the way she was.
In conclusion, however, it's an absolute triumph and a must-see.
