Review of La Vie en Rose (2007) by Karen M — 19 Sep 2017
While watching this it occurred to me that we are all Edith Piaf fans, some of us just don't know it yet. This has to be seen from start to finish, a lush shot biopic of the magnificent singer that shifts in time but never loses its audience.
This is not hindered by the enourmous performance of Marion Cotillard, a humble little French actress in the role of her life - as we witness Piaf taking the raptorous applause this will so be the case for Cotillard when she recieves her Oscar come Sunday night.
