Courau was wonderful as famed singer Edith Piaf and after finally viewing this film, she certainly deserved the 2007 Academy Award, which she was a dark horse contender among such talents as Cate Blanchett and Ellen Page.
A great adaptation of "the Little Sparrow" who I didn't really know much about.
