Review of La Strada (1954) by Zack M — 03 Jun 2011
You really get a glimpse into Fellini's heart in this film. It's so gorgeously shot, and gorgeously written that you can't help but leave the movie with a huge pallet of emotions. The characters are brilliantly crafted, and equally brilliantly acted, that they stick with you long after the film has ended.
Not the masterpiece of cinema which 8 1/2 is, but vastly more heartfelt.
