Review of La Strada (1954) by Morris N — 09 Feb 2012
This interesting character study follows a thuggish circus strongman and his doormat-like girlfriend as they travel down the road together. Profound symbolism about the nature of codependent romantic relationships are at the forefront of this acclaimed drama by Federico Fellini.
Some moments of this film are difficult to sit through, but that may be on account of the parallels that the viewer sees in their own life.
