Review of La Notte (1961) by Jeff B — 22 Mar 2008
Like many of the Antonioni films I've seen, this is beautiful to look at, but I guess I didn't take everything in like I should have. There were some excellent scenes in this, I really loved the scenes with Mastroianni and Vitti, and the ending was also very beautiful, but some of the other scenes dragged a bit.
I think L'Eclisse is the best of this "trilogy", followed by this, then L'Avventura.
