Review of La Notte (1961) by Joel K — 12 Apr 2010
The plot of this film is more clear than the other in Antonioni's trilogy. The first and last scenes along with Mastroianni and Vitti where she plays the recording for him are fantastic. This film is so much easier to follow than the other two.
Moreau is fabulous in her role. Anonioni places light in the foreground of a lot of his shots I have started to notice in this and L'eclisse. Great ending.
