Review of La La Land (2016) by Somepersona — 01 Jan 2017
This movie is cool. I barely had any flaws with it (except that it's not as excellent as Whiplash, of course :) ). This was the director's dream film that he completed the screenplay for even before he wrote Whiplash, and you can clearly tell.
The change in location that the director made to Los Angeles (from Boston, I think) was not noticeable at all, especially since this movie makes quite a use of the location.
