Review of La La Land (2016) by Claudia : — 28 Dec 2018
While the storyline may not be appreciated by all who watch this film, there is no denying this is one masterpiece of a film. Chazelle's use of colour, sound and light are some of the most creative I've ever seen.
The cinematography was used very creatively to work with the other visual components of the film. Both Gosling and Stone give terrific performances and perfectly showcase their skills in both acting and singing.
Ultimately, a very enjoyable cinematic experience.
