Doubtless, the cinematography, the plot, the score and songs cooperate well to deliver a beautiful, but heartbreaking story. Play the good actors and actresses, the characters lead us to feel their ambition and enthusiasm of being a big star and a jazz player.
This recounts the dying genre of jazz and the remote dream of a number of dreamer who hopes to live inside the screen, more importantly, it shows what arts truly are, and bring a new, refreshing movies that is rare nowadays.
