Review of La La Land (2016) by Jessica%20 R — 06 Apr 2017
I liked the wardrobe the most out of this stylized film that was trying just so hard to become a blockbuster. With intense films like Moonlight and Hidden Figures in the competition, it is amazing that this white centric film got as far as it did. Not to take anything away from it as an enjoyable film, but it was not deserve of the praise that it received.
Very good soundtrack though.
