Fun film and great songs, but it didn't live up to the hype surrounding it. This film is catered to the industry (of which I am also a part of), and both Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling have had much better performances in their careers.
It portrays itself as a love letter to Los Angeles when in reality it is a giant Hollywood circle-jerk.
