Review of La La Land (2016) by Lindsay E — 22 Jun 2017
My friend and I looked at each other and said "Well, that was disappointing!" We were surprised as we had heard it was a really good movie. It seemed like a sad (both literally and figuratively) remake of an old musical that lacked the originality of choreography and the fluidity of great singers And dancers.
The music was outdated, the story lacked originality. If you like generic syrup in generous portions, this movie may be for you.
