Review of La Haine (1995) by Pat W — 09 Jul 2009
This film moves along insidiously with charm and humour. Itâ??s a philosophical and poetic perspective on life in the French projects. By introducing us to the charactersâ?? homes and family we begin to care about their decisions and about their fate.
With subject matter so grim I didnâ??t expect to laugh so much but the scene with the drunk dude and the stolen car was classic.
