Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Liam M — 01 Nov 2007
A decadant, stylish glimpse into the world of the rich and soulless. The main character Marcello is a sad, misguided man and all his friends including the vulture-like paparazzi are dislikeable, foppish idiots.
The high-society Fellini depicts is empty and ignorant even though in places it is quite poetic. This film has a great ambience and story anyway so make sure you see it.
