Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Jason W — 24 Nov 2007
While much of the film appears to be somewhat jovial and high spirited. The underlying themes of desperation and self-loathing create an overwhelming duality of existence. It gets a bit long, and is not as crisp as 8 1/2.
Still a must for any film buff.
