Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Ben W — 17 Mar 2008
Definitely a fellini film, though its certainly not nights of cabiria or 8 and a half. we have a character in the midst of ennui and disenchantment about his life walking through different episodes that relay to us the depth and breadth of this mans feelings.
a good deal of his malais stems from his relationships with women of every variety and also his career. this film coined the term paparazzi and its certainly evident why in the film. the most interesting part was that with the young girl who works at the restaurant and the conversation that marcello and she have.
