Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Jenny B — 12 Nov 2008
Vivid, allegorical. Every shot a masterpiece, every scene a deep and multi-faceted exploration of human existence. The movie follows Marcello, who in some ways is like a modern Dante, as he moves through several acts that are but lightly threaded together.
Explores every aspect of sin, satisfaction, and piety. This film really sticks with you.
