Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Mike Z — 11 Jan 2009
There are not many films that really capture the unique irisistible charm and vigorous nature of marcello in la dolce vita. a playboy jearnalist who just wants to find his place in the world just that scene of a man who basically hangs out with celebrities and rich people, is passing the time, wants something more on a personal until he meets anita ekberg.
One of my fav. scenes is the fountain of trevi when she goes in the water and says....marcello come here.......amazing.. great work from mastroianni especially when he's got a cigarette in his mouth there is already so much to say like.
... who do you think I am when you look at me what can you tell me. a patiently made movie which made it fantastic....fellini definately took his time making this film with great shots and camera angles.
....as he does in most of his films.
