Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Reymundo B — 26 Jan 2009
This movie is perfect. I'm wriitng this seconds after finishing it because it needs a just review. There is so much symbolism, there nis so much detail to this film that most film watchers wont understand, but it moves you.
Marcello has no male role models in his life, therefore he doesn't know what it is to be a stable man. He is only here and there and never anywhere.
Fellini can always take you on a tail spin ride into the abyss and he does it well with this deep character observation of a man who doesn't understand life in a conventional sense and falls fast off it.
