Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by David B — 14 Mar 2010
This is a film that I can see why it is highly regarded, but nonetheless don't desire to view again, at least in its entirety. Marcello's character is compelling, there are fantastic images, and the theme of senseless frivolity rings true.
I loved how the paparazzi were always there, in triumph and tragedy. However, it felt too choppy and dragged in some parts.
