Review of La Dolce Vita (1960) by Zack H — 24 Mar 2012
It took me about half of the movie before I was really into it, but once it got into what I like best about Fellini (how he handles large crowds/chaotic scenes and parties/gatherings) then I got more into it.
More of a series of vignettes than an actual storyline, La Dolce Vita is interesting because you don't often see movies about meandering life from the 50's or 60's on A. a large scale and B.
nearly as often as you do now. Paved the way for a lot of introspective cinema.
