Review of La Collectionneuse (1967) by Mathieu C — 22 Jun 2007
Great film dealing with a man on vacation trying to avoid girls but ultimately gets pulled in. What I love about Eric Rohmer is that he shows how people can fall into traps even if they are completely aware of every device.
The main characters think themselves too smart to fall for a loose woman who is living with them but by the end they have both fallen for her. This film also has absolutly beautiful photography that must be seen.
