OK, forget the musical and the ghastly Birdcage with Robin Williams (in fact, let's just forget most things with Robin Williams). This is the original and best version. I won't go into the plot, as most people know it already.
The first time I saw this I laughed so hard I hurt myself, and each time I see it, I laugh just as much. It's a heartwarming, brilliantly funny tour-de-force of farce, cast and performed brilliantly. Please give it a go.
