Review of La Bête Humaine (1938) by Brandon S — 13 Jan 2010
Truly a liaison full of scandal. The romance was good in some scenes as was the drama, but I felt the strongest parts of the plot came together towards the end. I really enjoyed the ending. I am not sure if the whole 'other side' aspect of the male character's was present in the book but I did not particularly enjoy it as exemplified by the actors.
What did interest me was the beautiful perspectives in many of the shots of this classic film.
