Review of La Bamba (1987) by Steve G — 26 Dec 2010
The day the music died. The dramatic scenes worked best. The final scene was particularly effective. It may have been the saddest death I have ever seen. I could feel the mother's pain at his loss. His absence felt so real.
Brother Bob was one of the biggest dirtbag wankers ever. That was a very good performance. Though the mother was one of the more annoying characters I've seen on film.
