Review of Kwaidan (1965) by Super K — 28 Nov 2008
A supremely odd and deeply unsettling anthology of ghost stories which is gorgeously shot, and which employs set-pieces and stylised action which set it totally apart from both other horror movies, and also from art-house films.
The copy of Kwaidan that i've seen is rated PG, which to my mind seems insane, as contrary to Gareth James (below), I found really creepy and very unnerving!
