Review of Kurt & Courtney (1998) by Ray D — 02 Jan 2010
The more time you spend with this movie, which portrays Kurt as largely a victim of his own life and Courtney Love as Evil (with a capital E), the more depressed you'll get, and while it veers into oddly sensationalistic territory, there's something compulsively watchable about it, especially if one was ever a fan of Cobain's music.
I felt like I had to take a shower afterwards, but I'm glad I watched it. (For one thing, I'm pretty sure the soundtrack to this was the first place I ever heard Earth).
