Willfully ignorant on the part of the filmmaker and unflatteringly exploitative for all parties involved. Worth nothing save for the crushing sadness (which really is strangely, deeply involving) that overwhelms its parties and the whole strange, convoluted mess surrounding everything.
Certainly doesn't make anyone even remotely engaged by the subject like Courtney Love any more, that's for sure.
