Review of Kuroneko (1968) by Peter H — 04 Aug 2007
Extremely slow, zen-like ghost tale. Wonderfully carved, almost impalpable for its atmospheric horror, makes you feel a spine-chilling breeze coming from beyond as you sit quietly watching it. The music score, with its percussions, suffocated noises and wispers is very evocative.
