As Violent as his previous film (onibaba,1965), Kaneto shindo's horror masterpiece Kuroneko its a haunting,violent and controversial film for its time, involved with a masterful cinemarography and soundtrack and with some of the best actors in japan at that time, Kuroneko is another of Shindo's unforgetable horror masterpieces.
