Review of Kundun (1997) by Gabriel H — 03 Jan 2008
It's slow, the music is really annoying and it'd really sad, but I loved it. But I loved it because I have an inherent fascination with Buddhism and the Dalai Lama, in addition to the beautiful cinematography.
Those uninterested in Buddhism would probably think the movie was pretty, but not want to sit through it either. This is like the bastard child of Scorsese movies, but it's well done, and I liked it.
