Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Moviemitch96 — 11 Mar 2017

This definitely met my expectations as nothing more than a good and simple popcorn action spectacle. Lots of great cgi and effects to behold throughout, as well as a talented all-star cast with the likes of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L.

Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, and John C. Reilly to name as few. Storywise, there's little to none to be found here, but that simply doesn't matter, as the film's already plenty of fun without. Overall, simply put, it's loud and entertaining, so don't do yourself a disservice by going in expecting more.

Also, stick around after the credits for a brief little teaser of a familiar monster who got a film of his own a few years ago (but this film's much better in my opinion.
