Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Jnotr — 30 Oct 2017
I did not really feel the Kong movie, the character appears less than 10 minutes. I think the title should be "Escape from the Skull Island" where Kong plays to be a somewhat secondary character in the story.
The performances are correct and excels John C. Reilly and Samuel L. Jackson. The characters are fine, each one has its contrast. What I liked the most were the visual effects and the cinematography, making it a totally beautiful film visually.
The action scenes are very well made and the film does not abuse funny moments. A negative point is that the film at times decays and becomes a little dense. What I did love was that post-credit scene.
