Review of Kong: Skull Island (2017) by Yoonki C — 09 Apr 2017
Kong Skull Island, is from the director of The Kings of Summer. I can assure you that this film does feature some cool visuals and frenetic monster action that can definitely satisfy. A very solid acting, fast paced than before and incredible visuals that is exhilarating.
However, it's thinly written script and very sloppy and poor direction cannot overcome these to be one of the better monster feature films. Poorly executed characters with no heart within, who are just attractive people who can run in slow motion and uninteresting story which is a familiar taste.
All that it can offer are some cool visuals and big CGI monsters.
