Review of Kokoda (2006) by Helen B — 14 Nov 2006
A film symbolic to all Australians and should be a must see. FIlm wise it is very basic, and doesn't explian much or appear to show much, besides the conditions soldiers endured. Although I respect this film for trying to show a special side to an Australian involvment in war, it failed to move me like Gallipoli did.
Unfortunately for a second world war film based in New Guinea, Thin Red Line is still far superior.
