Review of Kokoda (2006) by James — 10 Dec 2006
Based on true events during WWII,Kokoda is about a bunch of Australian reserve soldiers on the Kokoda trail in Papau New Guinie are all that stands between a Japanese invasion and Australia. Due ot the bad sound editting, I didn't really udnerstand what was going on throughout the whole movie. Everytime the platoon is nearly annhilated, they're joined by people reappearing from out of the jungle. Also, even thogh they fought Japanese in the movie, I only ever saw one Jap throughout the whole movie. Most of the time you'd just see a shoe or the back of a "Japanese" soldier.
Really crap war movie. Not worth the time watching unless you're one of those people who drink at the local RSL bar. I think the movie could've been better.
