A well-deserved feature, drawing equally on the rich Aussie battler mythos of the silver screen and the nations brave stand in New Guinea. With high ambitions the cinematoraphy and score blend for beautiful aesthetics but the structure keeps it from rising above compelling Australian drama piece.
