Review of Kiss Me Deadly (1955) by Frédéric I — 11 Mar 2009
A pretty great Noir. This film is more stylized than most of Noirs, and the camerawork really is exceptional. I also love how unapologetic this film is. Mike Hammer is a borderline sociopath; He smiles when he hurts people and is just a great film noir character.
I love the ambitiousness of what was actually in the box as well.
