Review of King of California (2007) by Jamie S — 27 Apr 2008

I really enjoyed this movie! Its a story about the dysfunctional relationship between a daughter and her father...he was recently discharged from the psychiatric hospital after three years of inpatient treatment.

..and he is not "cured" by any means. Douglas plays the mentally ill father who is obsessed with finding buried treasure...and by the way, he plays a very realistic person with mental illness.

Check it out! Funny, enduring, and heart warming...but not in the sappy kinda way.
