Review of King Arthur (2004) by John W — 04 Dec 2013
Quite the underrated sword/battle epic if you ask me. (Particularly the Director's Cut version) It's got a great cast who all perform admirably, and ironically a Nolan-ized take on the Arthur legend before the phrase existed after the release of "Batman Begins".
It is grounded, gritty, dark and delves into the motitvations, loyalties, trials, and origins of King Arthur.
