Review of Killshot (2008) by Mack M — 28 Mar 2009

I expected SO much more - so much more and I got nothing in return! I only watched this movie for Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mickey Rourke, too, but I was greatly disappointed. Both actors do a great job, but not great enough to sustain this film.

I've seen films like these millions of times in my life -and I think everyone else has, too. All so predictable and familiar; a nice woman becoming a victim and learns to defend herself in 50 seconds, a broken marriage, a husband that wants to make it all right again, a cold-blooded killer and a sloppy, yapping one - good guys always win in the end.

Blah, blah, blah...Yes, Mickey Rourke is back and he is great, but the film is not at all good enough for a couple of hours' fun.
