Review of Killshot (2008) by Olli H — 04 May 2011
Story about a hitman (Mickey Rourke) who partner's with a young hothead (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) to kill a divoring couple (Diane Lane & Thomas Jane) who saw his face during a failed blackmail attempt. It's story is complex but not in a good way, too many things happen at the same time.
The acting is good, Mickey Rourke doing a solid job as the total professional and Jane & Lane both manage to hold their own as well. Joseph Gordon-Levitt does a good job but his character is at times very annoying and it falled into the same category as Ben Kingsley's character in "Sexy Beast", in the end you just wanted him to shut the hell up.
"Killshot" tried to be good, but it ended up being very mediocre. The acting was good, but some of the characters weren't.
